Sprechen sie The Big Lebowski? Organizers of the traveling Lebowski Fest, an ongoing "celebration of all things Lebowski," have announced preliminary plans for a Twin Cities event later this year. Though no firm date has been set, Minneapolis appears on a newly released list of cities on the Lebowski Fest hit list for 2009. That bowling-ball rumbling noise you hear is actually the sound of a zillion Lebowski-quoting fans excitedly rifling through their dressers in search of a Walter Sobchak vest, a Maude Lebowski valkyrie helmet, or a Jesus Quintana hairnet. (As if you need reminding: "Nobody fucks with the Jesus.")
