Here's another Haiti benefit show to add to your concert calendar (check out our previous roundup here): City Pages' Andrea Swensson and Jen Boyles will host Gimme Shelter: A Benefit Concert For Haiti at First Avenue on Feb. 6. The fundraiser's lineup includes Mark Mallman, Solid Gold, Zoo Animal, and Peter Wolf Crier, with DJs Jimmy 2 Times and Mike The 2600 King spinning between sets. The club's usual merch area will be set up as a marketplace where you can help out by buying goods from local artists including Chuck U, Anthem Heart, and BRLSQ. All proceeds from the event will be split evenly between the Red Cross Haiti Relief & Development Fund and Architecture For Humanity. Tickets cost $12 and go on sale Saturday at the usual outlets.
