Megadeth/Slayer metal supershow comes to Roy Wilkins Feb. 4
Slayer
Better start a strict regimen of neck exercises, because there's a whole lotta of headbanging about to go down. In a most brutal and blistering partnership, thrash metal titans Megadeth and Slayer will co-headline a two-month "American Carnage" tour, which arrives at Roy Wilkins Auditorium on Feb. 4. (There's also a smaller five-date "Canadian Carnage" tour, but how much damage can you honestly inflict to Canada?) And in an apparent nod to the 1991 "Clash Of The Titans" tour, fellow thrashers Testament will open. (Anthrax must not have been available.) Tickets go on sale Dec. 4 through Ticketmaster, and good news for unemployed metalheads: The tour will offer a limited supply of $10 tickets.
