Michael Ian Black cancels Thursday’s Varsity Theater gig
You’ll see in this week’s print edition a portion of an interview with Michael Ian Black that will attempt to tease you into loving the “very famous” talking head. Unfortunately, on this go ’round, that teaser is nothing but a cruel joke, as we’ve just learned that Michael Ian Black has canceled his Thursday gig at the Varsity Theater. We’re sure the reason is very important, but if you’re devastated you can give him crap for canceling his appearance on this micro-messaging service called Twitter, where just a few weeks ago he made fun of our state fair. The show may be rescheduled, but nothing is in the books yet. You can get a refund at your point of purchase.
