Beyoncé “Tired Of Being Sexy” Knowles is always making sexy music and then putting that music in sexy videos. Her newest venture into the realm of sexiness is a little ditty (feat. J. Cole) with the rather on-the-nose title of “Party.” The video for the song takes place in a fantasy universe where sexy trailer park residents drive new European sports cars and wear gaudy designer sunglasses.
You might have missed it, but there’s a little treat for Minnesotans among all of that sexy, because two of the partygoers featured on the margins of Beyoncé’s bombastic sexiness are Minnesotan fashion designers Coco and Breezy! Both sporting eyewear from their new Rainy Days collection, C&B make an appearance that acts more or less as a commercial for their brand, which, fair enough. The pair currently live in New York, but like every Minnesota export to that city (Bob Dylan, Craig Finn, Chuck Klosterman, et fucking cetera), we all have to pretend they’re thinking fondly of us as they snort coke off some dude’s abs, or whatever it is fashion designers do.
