MN Original debuting tonight on TPT
Minnesotans are just the sort of progressive commie bastards who'd choose to funnel taxpayer dollars into spreading awareness of local arts and culture. It's a wonderful thing, and the reason MN Original will be premièring tonight at 7:30 p.m. on Twin Cities Public Television.
Backed by the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, the weekly half-hour show is dedicated to creative types of all kinds, with the debut episode alone featuring photographer Alec Soth, metalworker Heather Doyle, painter Joe Paquet, and The Twilight Hours. We've been looking forward to the show ever since we found out one of the people involved is Chuck Olsen (of The Uptake, Rocketboom, and his own doc, Blogumentary), who has more experience documenting local stories than anyone we can think of.
