Mystery Palace’s newest album, Nervio, available online
More Just Announced
More than four years after the release of its debut album, Mystery Palace is back. As of July 12, the long-awaited Nervio is available on the band’s website, free to the public in the name of ecological conservation and musical liberty. (You can also check it out on torrent sites and facespaces everywhere.)

Fans of the glitch-pop supergroup will recognize Mystery Palace’s dreamy, sedated, dance-party groove, cleanly executed by some of the most in-demand musicians on the scene: keyboardist/whisper-singer Ryan Olcott (FoodTeam, 12Rods), bass master James Buckley (Poor Line Condition and Gayngs, among others), and drummer extraordinaire Joey Van Phillips (Dessa, et al). The trio will perform at its release party, Aug. 12 at the 7th Street Entry, joined by local favorites Dosh and Soviet Panda, further evidencing the group members’ status as nerd-synth icons. As if we didn’t already know that.
