New Hold Steady record hits stores May 4

Big news from The Hold Steady's website this morning: The band's fifth full-length studio album, Heaven Is Whenever, will be released by Vagrant Records on May 4. According to frontman Craig Finn, the album is about "embracing suffering and finding reward in our everyday lives." (In other words, it's a Hold Steady record.) The band recorded the LP with Dean Baltulonis, who also produced its super-amazing 2005 album Separation Sunday. The announcement also mentions that keyboards play a lesser role this time around, which isn't too surprising given that Franz Nicolay left the band last month.
Track listing for Heaven Is Whenever:
1. "The Sweet Part Of The City"
2. "Soft In The Center"
3. "The Weekenders"
4. "The Smidge"
5. "Rock Problems"
6. "We Can Get Together"
7. "Hurricane J"
8. "Barely Breathing"
9. "Our Whole Lives"
10. "A Slight Discomfort"
