Music Notes New videos from Low, Mason Jennings

More Music Notes

• Low has released a mopey new music video with the NYC subway system as the main character. Aside from the requisite shots of sulking band members, we get some beautiful time-lapse footage of a labyrinthian network of train tunnels and of the New York skyline. Check out the video for “Especially Me,” and then take a look at Low’s upcoming tour dates:

• Mason Jennings also has a new video out today, highlighting the first single from his forthcoming full-length, Minnesota. The song definitely has a Wings-era Paul McCartney vibe, but the visual theme shouts, “I took a cultural studies class in college and there was a lecture about self-aware media.” The video is available exclusively over at Paste Magazine.

• If you and the fam are looking for a good show tonight, choose wisely. Toki Wright is playing the Cabooze, Jeremy Messersmith is playing at the MN Zoo, and Leslie And The Ly’s are playing the Triple Rock. In other words, Leslie And The Ly’s is clearly going to be the most family friendly of the bunch.
