MPR has announced the lineup for its returning four-part discussion series, and it’s brimming with folks who are intelligent, chatty, and maybe more than a little nerdy. The Fitzgerald Theater series kicks off March 25 with a jam-packed show: comedian-actor-writer Patton Oswalt, Grant-Lee Phillips (of Grant Lee Buffalo fame), and special phone-in guest Paul F. Tompkins. On April 15, host John Moe grills writer Chuck Klosterman; Sandra Bernhard and Rosanne Cash will share the spotlight on May 20; and Minnesota’s favorite more or less local writer, Neil Gaiman, appears June 24. As always, John Munson (Semisonic, The Twilight Hours, The New Standards) will provide music for the event, though show-specific musical guests have yet to be announced. General admission tickets are $32 and go on sale Feb. 8, while series packages cost $100 and are available now.
