Just Announced Pavement adds St. Paul date to reunion tour

Twin Cities Pavement fans can quit envying their out-of-town friends who already hold tickets to the '90s indie rockers' Coachella and Central Park reunion gigs. The band, which broke up in 1999 following the release of its fifth studio full-length, Terror Twilight, just added six new tour dates to its upcoming world tour—and one of them is a stop at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium on Sept. 12. (There are places we'd much rather see the band play than the gymnasium-like Roy Wilkins, but after 11 Pavement-free years we'll take what we can get.) If you're not hyperventilating already, check out the setlist Brooklyn Vegan posted after the band's first show in a decade, a show that took place just a few hours ago in Auckland, New Zealand. September can't come soon enough. Tickets for the St. Paul show cost $35.50 and go on sale March 6.
