The increasingly out-of-touch Grammys are rarely cause for excitement, but last night's nominations announcement sparked a showdown between two Minnesota-born legends: Prince's "Dreamer" and Bob Dylan's "Beyond Here Lies Nothing" are both up for Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance. Who's their non-Minnesotan competition? John Fogerty's "Change In The Weather," Neil Young's "Fork In The Road," and Bruce Springsteen's "Working On A Dream." Rock music has never seemed so old. (Prince is the baby of the bunch at the spry age of 51.) But getting back to what's really important, who's better: Bob Dylan or Prince?
