Ringo Starr's Electric Fetus shirt makes up for MN Grammy losses
It wasn't a great Grammy night for past or present Minnesota residents. Jonny Lang didn't win Best Gospel Performance. Ann Nesby lost to both Jamie Foxx and Beyoncé. Twin Cities transplant Brian Setzer went home empty-handed as well. And Prince and Bob Dylan's head-to-head competition in the Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance category turned out to be a bust. Thanks for ruining the ultimate Minnesota musician face-off, Bruce Springsteen.
But someone managed to bring a little local pride to the proceedings, even if he wasn't repping for his homeland. Ringo Starr, classy fella that he is, wore an Electric Fetus T-shirt underneath his suit coat. The shirt was a Christmas gift from his Twin Cities-residing nephew, according to the Star Tribune.
