Just Announced Sarah Silverman at Ted Mann Concert Hall

Kevin Winter

If you really want to mess up and/or empower your 6-year-old daughter for the rest of her life, treat her to a night of glorious abrasion courtesy of Sarah Silverman. While her (ahem) somewhat controversial jokes will make your gut burn with laughter, Silverman’s dual personality—oscillating between Zen-like playfulness and harsh cynicism—might boil your blood. Her thoughts on rape, racism, and rim jobs may have made her a modern goddess of both the screen and the stand-up circuit, but the schtick isn’t for everyone. But here at The A.V. Club, we couldn't be more excited for Silverman's March 23 appearance at Ted Mann Concert Hall. Tickets are $35 ($15 for U of M students) and go on sale Feb. 25 at 10 a.m.
