St. Vincent will take her savvy songstressing on spring tour

After a blow-out 2011 that found St. Vincent’s Strange Mercy on numerous Top 10 lists, including our own, and after appearing on Conan earlier this week and performing a slick mirroring of Elvis Costello’s 1977 SNL appearance, St. Vincent will hit the road this spring. The North American tour kicks off just after Coachella, and includes a stop at First Avenue on May 12, a venue that was criminally under-attended the last time she landed on stage there. But the boost from last year’s Annie Clark media explosion should change all of that.
