Star Wars: In Concert
More Recap
Not enough concerts involve costumes. Sure, there's the occasional Kiss show, but those don't allow for much in the way of creativity. Not so for Star Wars: In Concert, which came to the Xcel Energy Center on Sunday. The arena show gave fans a chance to see movie props up close, experience the films' legendary scores in a live setting with narration by Anthony Daniels (a.k.a. C-3PO), and indoctrinate small children into lifelong sci-fi geekery, all while dressed up in their Sunday finest (not exactly church-going clothes, but the sort of thing you'd wear if you were being honored for blowing up the Death Star).
