More Just Announced
The Jayhawks know just what Twin Cities music fans want for Christmas—but they’re going to make us wait. The beloved alt-country band has returned to the recording studio with the promise of a new album—its first since 2003’s Rainy Day Music—to be released in the first half of next year. In the meantime, the guys are staying visible with a Jan. 29 show at First Avenue. Also new to the calendar this week: shoegaze, flamenco rumba, trip-hop, Celtic punk, and a comedy legend.
