All the bands with highly anticipated albums are announcing tours today! Joining Destroyer’s Kaputt on the list of albums whetting The A.V. Club’s appetite for new music in 2011 is the latest release from The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, the plucky guitar-pop band that courageously overcame a truly horrible name to release a great self-titled debut in 2008. The band just announced a show on April 25 at the Triple Rock with Twin Shadow, a group that was recently featured in an excellent Daytrotter session you need to download immediately. (Twin Shadow put out one of the most surprisingly excellent records of last year, as well.)
