Local Newswire The Twilight Sad coming to North America to make your winter chillier, sadder

The Scottish shoegazers of The Twilight Sad have announced a North American tour in support of their forthcoming record, No One Can Ever Know, due Feb. 7 of next year via Fat Cat Records. The tour kicks off Feb. 23 in Washington, D.C., then rolls through the U.S. and Canada—including a March 3 stop at the 7th Street Entry. Given that Twilight Sad guitarist Andy MacFarlane—who also produced the band’s third album, No One Can Ever Know—has described the new record as sparser and more “militant” than the band’s previous, more fulsome efforts, expect the band’s live show to not really break up that unsociable, chilly winter mood you’ve worked so hard to cultivate.
