In a bit of tongue-in-cheek municipal administration, the City of Minneapolis has created a strange new snow emergency PSA framed as an infomercial for its tax-funded plow service. To its credit, the video does manage put a positive and serviceably humorous spin on something most car-owners in the greater metropolitan area consider an annoyance. To its detriment, it might also be received by joyless conservative types as a flippant example of pro-big government propaganda. But there’s no pleasing those people.
