U2 announces rescheduled North American tour dates
U2 is determined to bring its massive, spider-like concert rig to your town, back surgery be damned. The band put plans for the North American leg of its 360° Tour on hold in May to give Bono time to heal from an emergency operation. But going under the knife now seems like a minor bump in the road: In a video on the band's site, the frontman appears to have fully recovered, comfortably moving around and wearing sunglasses indoors as if nothing ever happened. The newly rescheduled string of dates will begin in Denver in May and end in Minneapolis at TCF Bank Stadium on July 23. All tickets purchased for the original dates will be honored.
