More Recap

Year after year, Voltage showcases some of the most talented artists in the Twin Cities fashion industry before they make the leap to the national stage. Minnetonka's Raina Hein walked in last year's show, and where is she now? Rockin' those signature eyebrows and trying to avoid petty squabbles on America's Next Top Model. Friday night's show at First Avenue featured a wide variety of styles, from Frances Zerr's preppy '80s wear to Danielle Everine's 19th-century-inspired traveling cloaks to Kevin Kramp's chest-exposing knits. (Calm down, it was men's wear.) Not to be outdone, the musicians also wore designs by locals, the highlight of which had to be the spectacular train from Red Shoe Clothing Co. worn by Red Pens drummer Laura Bennett. If you missed the show, check out our photos and place your bets on the next local fashion maven to make it big.
