The Twin Cities' own queen of political satire, Lizz Winstead, returned last week to offer her spin on the highs and lows (okay, mostly lows) of 2009. Staged at the Parkway Theater on New Year's Eve, What The F--k Just Happened?? paired the Daily Show creator with two frequent co-conspirators (and former Minnesota residents): actress/comedian Darbi Worley and MSNBC pundit Ed Schultz. The evening's highlights included a dramatic reading of Sarah Palin's autobiography, thoughts on what a Ken Burns documentary on the Mall Of America might look like, and a bevy of jokes regarding gay marriage, Karl Rove, teabagging, Norm Coleman, and terrorists.
