Where Am I? #3

You're somewhere in the Twin Cities. Can you guess where?

Between the cryptic markings and weathered brickwork in the above photo, you might think it was taken at some cross-dimensional intersection of Area 51 and Athens, Greece. On the contrary, this unusual snapshot depicts one of the Twin Cities' coolest historic attractions, which is located conveniently in the... well, let's not give too much away. Look closely, think hard, and let us know where you think this distinctive vista can be found.
The rules for Where Am I? are simple: Every Saturday, Decider publishes a photo taken in a public place somewhere around the Twin Cities. It could be a restaurant, a club, a familiar piece of prominent artwork, a famous piece of local architecture—something you've probably visited, driven past, or maybe just heard about at some point. The catch? Saturday's photo is a close-up detail of something at that place, so only people who've been paying attention will have a chance at correctly guessing where the photo was taken.
If you think you know the answer, post it in the comments below. What do you win? The respect and admiration of the entire Internet—that's right, the entire Internet—and some Onion swag (for that, you have to be a registered user so we get your email address). We'll post the answer on Sunday (and that link won't go live until midnight, so don't try to peek early).
