Where Am I? #3: The Answer

Where in the Twin Cities does a weirdly drawn glass mural reflect the ruins of a hulking architectural relic? The answer to this week's Where Am I? quiz may be no surprise to Minneapolis history buffs.
Kudos to all who correctly guessed that the photo was taken inside the courtyard of the impressive Mill Ciy Museum. Once the site of a fully functioning flour mill, the building was all but abandoned in the 1970s after the city's economic engine took a turn for the modern, and a fire nearly obliterated the site altogether in 1991. Luckily, the recent wave of redevelopment along the Mississippi River included the 2003 construction of this fascinating facility. The courtyard itself is known to host concerts and special events in the non-winter months, giving the Walker Sculpture Garden a run for its money as the area's hippest open-air hiding place.
