Arrington de Dionyso is a Renaissance man in the truest sense. He is an artist, a teacher, and, most recognizably, a musician, leading Pacific Northwest time-travelers Old Time Relijun with his erratic voice and bouts of multi-instrumentation. Representing the spiritual underbelly of his home label, K Records, Dionyso’s solo work pushes the boundaries of free jazz with a cataclysmic force, taming the bass clarinet in unimaginable ways while gracefully mastering the ancient art of Tuvan throat singing.
