The Australian Pink Floyd Show at State Theatre
Paying proper tribute to one of rock’s most expansive and theatrical groups requires a degree of dedication most cover bands simply can’t muster. Not so with The Australian Pink Floyd Show, which brings not only the songs of Pink Floyd, but also its lights and glitz. It’s apparently spot-on, too: David Gilmour even invited the long-running outfit to play at his 50th birthday party. Here, they’ll perform the usual fan favorites from Wish You Were Here, Animals, Dark Side Of The Moon, and The Wall.
