The Big Pink: The Last Waltz Tribute at Cabooze
The Cabooze continues a local tradition on Saturday with its fifth annual Big Pink: The Last Waltz Tribute. The show (not to be confused with British indie-rock band The Big Pink) is an elaborately conceived reconstruction of The Band's star-studded 1976 final performance, which was captured by Martin Scorsese in the acclaimed concert film. A cast of dozens of locals will not only be replaying the show song for song, but they'll also take on the roles of the original stars, including Dan Israel as Bob Dylan and Terry Walsh as Van Morrison.
