Eric Benet + Mint Condition - CANCELED at Orpheum Theatre
Eric Benet has enjoyed modest success since releasing 1996's A Day In The Life on Warner Bros., most notably scoring a No. 1 on the R&B chart with 2000’s “Spend My Life With You,” a duet with Tamia. Roles in Mariah Carey’s Glitter and as Halle Berry’s real-life husband didn’t go as well, but at least Benet has stayed true to his roots, returning to his Milwaukee hometown to record last year’s Love & Life. Opener Mint Condition hit in big in 1991 with Meant To Be Mint, bridging the funky R&B of "Minneapolis Sound"-era Prince and The Time and the smooth croons of groups like Boyz II Men. It's one of the few surviving R&B groups of that era, and last year released its sixth studio album, E-Life. NOTE: This show has been cancelled. Refunds are available at point of purchase.
