Netherlands native Ferry Corsten is the epitome of the modern producer-DJ: He holds down high-profile residencies around the world and then funnels firsthand club experience into dance-party studio projects. His 2006 album, L.E.F., is immaculate (though perhaps a shade clinical), overlapping funky electro and stratospheric trance and featuring guest vocals from Guru, Simon LeBon, and Howard Jones. He followed that last year with Twice In A Blue Moon, a more organic and sensual but still plenty beat-heavy work. Expect Corsten to pack his set with plenty of his own tracks and remixes, including material recorded under his many aliases, including Moonman, Albion, and System F.
