The Intergalactic Nemesis at Heights Theater
When the live radio play The Intergalactic Nemesis debuted in 1996, the onus of imagining spectacular visuals to accompany the show’s whiz-bang sci-fi action was placed on the audience—until those visuals were splashed across the pages of a subsequent comic book adaptation. Fourteen years later, creator Jason Neulander and his intrepid crew marry sight and sound in a “live-action graphic novel” retelling of the adventures of an ace reporter and her Jimmy Olsen-esque assistant. The pair discovers a mysterious map that leads to a scoop of astronomical proportions, brought to four-color life with the help of foley artist Buzz Moran, composer Graham Reynolds, and voice actors Christopher Lee Gibson, Shana Merlin, and Mical Trejo.
