Musicians in the Twin Cities throw benefits for ailing friends almost as often as they release records, but illness isn't the only reason someone might need a little help. And if there's one thing musicians understand, it's the importance of gear. So when dedicated photographer Jenn Barnett's camera fell apart on her, threatening her means of making a living, a benefit to help her get a new one was organized, and artists including The Honeydogs, Molly Maher, and The Mad Ripple were enlisted to play. The lineup promises heartland roots-rock, with the emphasis on the heart, as these artists help a fellow creative get back on her feet.
