Surviving the great reggaeton outbreak of the early 2000s, the Miami-based, Cuba-repping Pitbull has proved more radio-friendly than many of his past contenders. (Remember Daddy Yankee? Neither do we.) While previous albums featuring collaborations with the likes of Trina and Ying Yang Twins have made Pitbull a viable name in the rap game, his latest release, Rebelution, may be his career’s highest mark yet. Besides, who can resist a man who claims, “I’m the plumber tonight / I'll check your pipes / oh, you the healthy type / here go some egg whites”? We sure can’t.
