Love Is All, Tyevk, and Nurses at Turf Club
Sweden’s Love Is All first whipped post-punk fans into a lather in 2006 with Nine Times That Same Song, a messy, frenetic masterpiece full of disco rhythms, chiming guitars, horns, and gamely vocal interplay. On its recently released third full-length, Two Thousand And Ten Injuries, the band cleans up its unhinged studio sound, offering a collection of more carefully put-together songs. But Love Is All isn't sacrificing fun for polish: Saxophone squawks, Josephine Olausson's pixie vocals, and sheer punk intensity keep things rabble-rousing and unpredictable.
