Norma Jean, Horse The Band, The Chariot, and Arsonists Get All The Girls at Station 4
After releasing two albums as a rap-metal act under the terrible moniker Luti-Kriss, Norma Jean smartly underwent a total band overhaul, ditching its Limp Bizkit style. Re-emerging in 2002 with the new name and a revamped sound—first appearing on Bless The Martyr, Kiss The Child—the group came into its present day self as a reputable Christian post-hardcore band. Combining a brutal sound with grandiose thematic lyrical concepts, Norma Jean set a practically unreachable standard for the aftermath of metalcore mutations that would follow.
