Radio Happy Hour at Cedar Cultural Center
Since leaving the Twin Cities for Manhattan, writer/bon vivant Sam Osterhout has injected the attitude and innovation his group Lit 6 brought to their Electric Arc Radio Show into a new project, Radio Happy Hour. Based in the East Village’s Le Poisson Rouge, RHH has welcomed guests like Norah Jones, Cursive, and Andrew W.K. into its murder-mystery format. For Osterhout's return to Minneapolis, Tapes ‘N Tapes frontman Josh Grier will star as an intramural-roughhousing coach for a local parks and recreation department who must solve the murder of a student with the help of musician Chris Koza and novelist Geoff Herbach. Yeah, it doesn’t make much sense, but there'll be music from TNT and plenty of laughs to keep you distracted.
