In 2010, Rogue Valley set the bar high for itself when it ushered in the first of four season-themed albums with a lavish show at St. Paul's Fitzgerald Theater that featured a high school drumline and a swell of special guests. The madness continued for an entire year, with the Chris Koza-fronted band releasing one new album every few months, culminating in a firestorm of positive press for the restless frontman. Since 2006, Koza has spent much of the time since the release of his sophomore album, Patterns, on the go, mounting several nationwide DIY tours in which he’s brought his brainy folk-pop to the people in configurations ranging from solo acoustic troubadour to leader of this six-piece band.
