Two-thirds of Skoal Kodiak makes perfect sense: the rhythm section. That section plugs away, not unlike any post-punk drum-and-bass combo. Frontman Marcus Lunkenheimer, on the other hand, makes things epically weirder. With his self-made, circuit-bent mic, Lunkenheimer manipulates and twists his voice into horror-movie garbles. It’s an experimental novelty act, but it’s a fun one.
