Supersuckers play good ol’ American rock ’n’ roll, and judging by the current members’ monikers (Eddie Spaghetti, Dan “Thunder” Bolton, “Metal” Marty Chandler, and “Scottzilla” Churilla), the group is surely a fun and rowdy bunch. It’s been a long haul—two decades in, a steady stream of raucous country-rock, near-constant touring, hanging with Eddie Vedder and Willie Nelson—and band leader Spaghetti plans to keep on it: “I resolve to make this year one of the best in Supersuckers history,” he wrote on the band’s website in January. True, Supersuckers haven’t put out anything since 2008’s Get It Together, but the renewed spirit is certain to be found onstage, where the band has proven over the years to be at its best.
