With Dead Hands Rising’s name has never been more appropriate than for this show: It's the band's funeral. The Minneapolis band called it quits after releasing three albums of hardcore-influenced death metal, most recently 2008’s Expect Hell, but the final lineup of the band is reuniting along with past members including original singer Colin Strandberg to set that Viking longboat on fire and set it adrift in the ocean pointing toward metal Valhalla. Expect machine-gun drums, barbarian screams and yelps, and a ferocious twin-guitar hammering, with both volume and aggression set on 11.
