Dave Anderson really is famous, not only as the founder of the 14 Twin Cities eateries that bear his name, but as the former Assistant U.S. Secretary Of Indian Affairs. But the finger-lickin’ ribs at his flagship location are just as exciting as his job. (Like your bones without Dave’s signature sauces? Simply ask for them “naked.”) Inside, it’s dimly lit, well-worn, and no-frills. Wood tables, vintage neon signs, a meandering bar, and a dance floor in front of the stage all add up to a down-home evening of blues and ‘que.
