That's a good summation. These are the least flashed out and least realistic main characters I've seen on television in a long time. The show makes Joey Quinn from Dexter into Tony Soprano in comparison.

I love the McCawley house. I like future sci-fi that's an extension of today, instead of a completely new environment. Future DC in Minority Report comes to mind.
