I think there was a central theme here in this episode, the abuses of power were everywhere. It was an episode especially focused on the physical cost of power, from Davos' pouch, Joffrey's crossbow, the shadow baby, rat torture ...
Perhaps we'll see Olivia in old person makeup next week? They never said outright she was dead. Just that the team was in amber, and that Etta hadn't seen her parents since age 4.
Totally agree! I was very frustrated with a lot of this season but this episode pulled me back in. The purge was foreshadowed.
