British singer Charli XCX is frequently mentioned alongside Ellie Goulding, and she's toured with the likes of Coldplay and Santigold, which is impressive for an artist who just released her first album. American audiences will most likely have heard Charli XCX as a guest on Icona Pop's unstoppable hit "I Love It," last year's genre-crossing super-jam. She stopped by our office armed with a cover of Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way." It doesn't have the dancefloor energy of some of her other songs, but it works as both a modern ballad and a beautiful throwback. Enjoy.
