A.V. Undercover

Eagulls cover The Stone Roses
About This Episode

Eagles is an L.A. rock band reviled by The Dude. Eagulls is a British post-punk band. (The pronunciation is pretty much the same.) These Eagulls have earned a reputation for blistering live shows that combine Wire-y energy with echoes of The Cure. For A.V. Undercover, they chose to tackle another British band: The Stone Roses’ “I Wanna Be Adored,” one of the great side-one, track-ones of all time. As you’ll notice, it has very few lyrics, but that doesn’t stop it. Enjoy.

Here’s a roundup of where we’ve been this year, and what songs are left for A.V. Undercover 2014.
