As any band will tell you, the worst part of playing shows happens before the first fan gets there and long after they’ve all left. Loading in and loading out of a venue is a tedious, grueling task, and it’s why The A.V. Club wondered if anyone would be willing to participate in our “Pack The Van” challenge. Into It. Over It. and Pinegrove, two bands on tour together—in support of two great, new records—were happy to oblige, despite Into It having 80 times the equipment (approximate number). In this no-holds-barred competition, the two bands race to fill their vans with their respective gear, while attempting to disrupt their opponents in the process. It got so heated that passersby asked if they were witnessing a street fight instead of good-natured game between tourmates.
