Welcome to the official start of A.V. Undercover 2015, and thanks for joining us for season six. Just yesterday, we revealed the song list for this year, which includes lots of potentially awesome stuff. As you may have noticed from the pre-season episode, we’re separating the interviews from the performances this year, and asking the bands some extra questions for your amusement. (Sometimes, anyway.) First up, it’s the thoroughly awesome Punch Brothers, who covered The Cars for us way back in 2012. This time, they’re cheating just a bit, since a song that they already knew happened to be on this year’s list. Still, you can never hear a banjo- and mandolin-assisted cover of The Strokes’ “Reptilia” too many times. Enjoy, and we’ll see you next week for the next 30 weeks.
