A.V. Undercover: Summer Break

Telekinesis covers Donovan

Sunshine came softly through my green screen today

About This Episode

Telekinesis—the nom de rock of Michael Benjamin Lerner—graced the Undercover round room back in 2010 with a charming Belle And Sebastian cover. This time, the band took us out for a crazy summer field trip with a cover of Donovan's 1966 classic "Sunshine Superman." Look out for that surfer, bro! The latest Telekinesis album is Dormarion, which is the name of the Texas street on which is was recorded (by Spoon's Jim Eno, no less). The band's label, Merge Records, also just announced a vinyl issue of the band's fantastic, exclamation-enhanced debut, Telekinesis! Enjoy the crazy summer.
