Wild Cub covers Beyoncé

“Crazy In Love” was a heart-stopper and a chart-dominator when it was released in 2003. Her first solo single, it couldn’t have been a stronger statement of purpose for Beyoncé. (And it was her first collaboration with future husband Jay Z, whose part is minimized in the cover you’re about to see.) We thought “Crazy In Love” would be grabbed much later for this year’s Undercover, but Wild Cub rose to the challenge early. The Nashville band re-released its debut album, Youth, earlier this year, and just followed it with an iTunes EP called Letters Home From Far Away: Covers, Outtakes & Live Recordings—which includes a studio version of “Crazy In Love.” Wild Cub is on tour now; dates can be found right here.
