M.L. Kejera
ML Kejera is a Gambian writer based in Chicago. His work has previously been published, or is forthcoming, with The Nation and PanelxPanel. He is a Commonwealth Short Story Prize shortlistee.

The art looks lovely, reminds me of certain old picture books from childhood. Story seems simple to me but maybe there’s more to it than what the previews show.

Huh...interesting. I’m putting this on my list of books to read. It’s about time Lost Girls had a companion in the “books I will never ever leave out for guests to accidentally discover” club.

Couldn’t be more eager to see this. I’m biased because she’s a friend of a friend and also because I’m a morbid weirdo, but I really think Gfrörer is staggeringly good and it’s cool to see her getting into longer-form stuff.
